Frequent question –  Do I need the Aluminum 50W or Ceramic 25W?
For optimal results, we advise the utilization of our Aluminum 50W load resistor for dual filament bulb types such as 3157, 1157, and 7443. For single filament LED bulbs like 1156, 3156, and 7440, we recommend the Ceramic 25W version.
However, if uncertainty persists, opting for the Aluminum version is a prudent choice. This version effectively combines resistance, wattage, and voltage conversion, making it the widely preferred load resistor in automotive applications.

Frequent question – Do these Load resistors get Hot?
Our load resistors generate heat while functioning to balance the system. Securely zip or use screws to position them away from heat-sensitive materials. Although they become warm, their is less than the regular halogen bulb that you are replacing, unlike other cheaper load resistors these are guaranteed not to overload your electrical system as to why we are the preferred choice by the professionals.
