The emblem is high quality and adds some flare to my otherwise mundane looking front end of my 2008 F-250 XL work truck. Putco helped me match up an emblem that was close in size to my OEM as they don’t make an emblem for my 2008. Modifying the grille to fit the emblem was the easy part. Running the harness was a challenge as my grille lifts up with the hood. Fitting the Add-A-Fuse in my Power Distribution Box required removal of good deal of material from the inside top of the box cover as well as creating an exit for the power wire. A bit of a pain but all worked out well and the end result was worth the effort.
This emblem looks great on my 2023 Avalanche F150. Install went pretty much exactly like the video. I wired it directly to the fuse panel. Only issue is there is no way to run the wire into the fuse panel without either using a Dremel tool or just close the box on your wire. I chose to just close the box on my wire as
i did not want to compromise the water resistance of the fuse box.
